A heave of Peace on The Banks of Seine
Riverside House is a haven of peace where you, your family and friends will create unforgettable memories on the banks of the Seine, near Paris. An exceptional venue combining charm of the XIX th century California style, surrounded by a beautiful park.
It is a large mansion in stone and brick, as built in the 1880s. Skimming the calm waters of the Norman Seine. Here the impressionists came at the beginning of the 20th century to capture the tranquility and the beauty of the river. Its sweetness of life too.
There is no doubt that Jordan Feilders and his partner Tatiana Dupond will have felt this extraordinary appeasement in this corner of Normandy.
Far from the noise and bustle of Paris, less than 100 kilometers away, Riverside House is a sublime pied-à-terre in the small village of Muids.
Here, the weather seems to go slower, the air is perhaps milder and the trees taller than elsewhere. The Seine twists in tight meanders as if to slow down its waters better and also take its time.
Jordan and Tatiana have patiently supervised the renovation of this large house and its outbuildings for a year. Vast cold spaces that had to be modernized, reheated, re-enchanted. Keeping the essential, the soul of the house of 1883. But also inventing the rest of the story. Offer passing travelers, friends and family a place of great beauty; a little wild but not too much, to simply say that life is good.
Riverside House Normandy is a small masterpiece of sophisticated simplicity. Games of natural materials, soft colors, antique trinkets, comfortable furniture. A welcoming and beautiful house to let go for a few hours, a few days. Get away from screens. Touch the grass, water, leaves all around. Come back as close as possible to a benevolent nature.
