Shocked at how good this was, Richard is one of the most interesting characters I have seen in years. Genuinely shows that Venus and Serena definitely put in some input on what their father was like. Like every great sports movie, this made me care about a sport I don’t enjoy.

This felt like a typical sports biopic in a lot of ways, but I have to acknowledge it is different in that it’s really about the coach (and in this case, father) of the sports stars. I wish the actual film were as interesting and unique as the premise makes it sound, but yeah, it was just okay.
